Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. This page explains which ones this website uses. It is a short page because the answer is almost none.

What we use

Austin Fitness does not set any cookies of its own. There is no advertising and there are no social media trackers on this website, which is why you have not been asked to accept any.

Visitor numbers

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. It does not store anything in your browser, does not follow you to other websites and does not identify you. It tells us things like how many people visited a page, which website sent them, the type of browser and device, the country and how quickly the page loaded.

Security cookies from our host

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To protect the site from bots and attacks, Cloudflare may sometimes set a strictly necessary cookie (such as __cf_bm) that helps tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. It does not identify you, is not used for advertising, and expires within about 30 minutes. Because the site needs it to stay secure, the law does not require us to ask for consent first.

The map on our About page

Our About page can show a map of where we are. It only loads if you choose to show it. When you do, the map comes from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies, which are covered by Google's cookie policy. If you never open the map, nothing is loaded from Google and no Google cookies are set.

After you sign up

When you click the link in our confirmation email, you land on a page run by Kit, our email provider. That page is covered by Kit's own privacy and cookie policy.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop this website from working.

Changes

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as advertising or tracking cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
